February Birthdays....1yr, 50yr, 80yr....wow...a busy weekend.

For us, when we come home after Christmas, we are generally here for a few months before heading back to ATL..but Feb was a big month in our family. My Mom turned 80, my sister Kelley turned 50 and my great niece Ella turned 1....all milestones and worthy of a trip to ATL to celebrate. Mom's birthday is 2/2...so we flew up to take her to dinner on that nite...but we came back and then went back for all the other parties and her surprise party which we planned all for one weekend.

First...Kelley's 50th on Friday 2/17....she wanted low-key...so Mom and Denny and I took her fav dinner and an awesome chocolate cake and headed up for dinner. Ashley came home from college for a visit and Chad and Larry were there...we had a great time....a small group, but fun.

Next up was Ella's 1st birthday...Brad and Cindy did a great job...can't believe she's already 1.

What a sweet girl....she was so good...

 Time to dig in...strawberry cake....YUM.

An update for every month of last year....adorable.

 We had a great time and then we headed to Mom's house for her surprise party. Much thanks to some great friends for decorating while we were all at Ella's party...

She was so surprised...and Chris brought her up on the deck ....

It was a great party...Cassablanca catered awesome BBQ....thanks, we loved it!!
The 50's decor was great, including candy of that time period....it was awesome.
