Christmas 2018...also a bit late..

Once again, life got busy and the blog got behind...but time to catch up. Our Christmas fun started with a quick trip over to Disney. We just spent 1 nite, but we were only going to enjoy Disney Springs, not a park. We'd heard about the parade of trees, it really was a amazing...

It was busier than we'd hoped, but it was a Fri nite...we truly enjoyed  all the decorations and lights as it got dark. Had dinner at The Edison...very yummy and headed back to the hotel. Had a great nites sleep, and in fact slept in late...the headed back to Disney Springs for lunch, we slept through breakfast which was delightful. There were some waits in several places until we got to Planet Hollywood...good choice. Chef Guy Fieri inspired many of the menu options....delish. A gorgeous day as we sat outside and enjoyed people watching. After lunch we "waddled" around to work off some lunch, and did a little Christmas shopping.

The trip home was easy and it seems the family had been busy seeing Santa...

Then the next weekend we went to St. Armands Circle to see the lighting of the big tree. That was very nice, and a church on the circle had a live nativity..been a long time since I saw that. It was so good, they did a great job.

Always fun to see and do the Christmas things around town. We headed to ATL a little early this year, had several things on the calendar. 

The big finally came...it was crazy as always..

Quinton loves the little ones..he was making sure Ella had something to eat...soooo cute.

It was so sweet and so true...

We got Mom a square pedestal cake plate, and a gift certif for 4 to have a home chef come cook a 4 course dinner....cool

 After Mom finished, it was time for Chad and Ash...our big kids...

Ash enjoyed her hat and puzzle we gave her , and Chad liked his first ever vest!! I'm sure it will be the 1st of many.

SANTA...he came to our house on Christmas...WOW!!!

Santa did some cool magic tricks and handed out gifts to each child...they had so many questions...

He had their attention, that's for sure

He had a very special gift for Ella and big surprise for all of us...a baby will be here in August...WOOHOO...Best Christmas ever!!!

Then the big question was...boy or girl??? Santa took his sweet time telling us...

Then we finished the rest of the package opening...

Then it was time for dinner and the end of another great Christmas....thanks to all, we are such a blessed family.  Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season...now...let's see what 2019 holds, besides a new baby boy!!!
