Disney with Mom....awesome

Has been many years since my Mom had been to Disney and we wanted to take her. She'd never had a "Magic Band", and had only stayed on Disney property 1 time....this was way overdue!!

We arrived at Caribbean Beach Club around 230p on a cold afternoon....but we were just happy to be there.

We got checked in and rode the Sky buckets over to the Boardwalk...inside the Wyland Art Gallery we found some awesome stuff...as always....

Olaf and I were both shocked at the prices....

Always seem to find an amazing Pooh picture..

 We had dinner at The River House and headed back to the room...it was VERY chilly...unusually so, but this cold front would be gone tomorrow.

The next day was brunch at Art Smith's ...Home Cookin' Kitchen....I'd been wanting to eat here for months...finally. We got on the Disney bus transportation and headed to Disney Springs...

We started with these house made doughnuts, covered in bacon goodness...

Mom and I both had this bowl of heaven..The Hamilton...cheesy grits, collards, bacon, ham, fried shallots, eggs, and hollandaise....UNREAL AWESOME....you gotta go there.

Denny got french toast, also amazing...

No room for dessert...but we'll be back....

Always cool entertainment at Disney Springs.

We tried some Gelato and did lots of people watching and as it started to get crowded we headed for the hotel...Enjoyed being around our hotel and chilling. We got a quick serve snack for dinner, not too hungry after our brunch...what a great day. Played some games in our room and relaxed.

Got up and decided to hop around on the Skyliner....rode out to Art of Animation and  had breakfast, then walked over to Pop Century Resort.

All about 50's, 60's, 70's...etc...loved all the fun buildings...Disney just does it right..

After this we rode out to The Riviera...Disney newest resort...we had just seen it, but Mom had not and we enjoyed that again. Then it was time to head back to our place and think about dinner.

 Mom and I ate at Sebastian's Bistro...it was great. I had a wonderful grilled fish and Mom had fried fish. Then we split a wonderful Chocolate dessert...so good... Thanks for dinner Mom!!

I got this pic of The Riviera all lit up...impressive...our 3 nites had gone so fast and we didn't even go into one of the parks...we really enjoyed just being around the resort and other places...next time EPCOT!!!

After a great nights sleep we packed up and headed out...first we stopped at Margarittaville...wow what a place. We ate lunch in their downtown area at Ford's....so good and so unique..

next door was this HUGE candy store...biggest Skittles I'd ever seen....Mom found some chocolate candy...imagine...

After we ate, shopped and walked around we headed to the resort....it's beautiful
The pool and area at the resort are wow...

It had been a great vacation, but time to head home.........we had a blast Mom, so glad we could show you your first Magic Band.....We'll do it again....Love you
