Thanksgiving post.....a bit late....

OK...so life got busy and I got behind. We were in Atlanta with family for Thanksgiving...it was a wonderful gathering. We had 23 total.....but 6 were pretty young....

Two of my nieces, they are sisters, each have a set of twins pluse an older child...so WE GOT KIDS!!!! It's so much fun...but very busy.

Mom wanted to set up a kid table for all the little boys....

Mommy, Brittany, helps Jase....and cute little dressed up Witt just wanted to eat his dinner.

It was a great day...after dinner and clean up we had a fiecre game of  Catch Phrase, girls vs. guys...I won't make it any worse for them by telling you the score, but let's just say women connect better. I will say, they didn't have a chance....there were 6 girls, me and my 3 sisters, and the my 2 nieces that are sisters....so they didn't have a chance with all that sister power!!! Better luck next year guys.

The next day Shea and I decorated the house for Christmas...we got it all done except for the tree. It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

The next day Shea flew home with me to Sarasota....we had a cooking class at the Publix cooking school scheduled....Caramelicious.....YUM!!

We did a little shopping and beaching for 2 days...the beach was wonderful...got a few nice pics..

There was a shrimp boat that came into the channel and the birds went crazy...as did the dolphin..

Was fun to watch....hadn't seen this before.....and then God worked His magic for us... WOW!!

Time to head home....a shower, some easy dinner and a Christmas movie.....what a nice evening.

Finally it was time for cooking class....we had a great time. We had dinner at Panera first then walked down to Publix...the class was small so we got some good hands-on

We made for different things with caramel, as well as making sea salt caramel squares.

Tarts filled with Caramel....cupcakes (made from scratch) with Caramel icing, a pastry with caramel and chocolate swirled on top and the sea salt caramel squares....all very yummy. We ate in class and brought plenty home.....Merry Christmas Shea!!!

Shea wanted a few utensils, like a candy thermometer so we got those and headed home. It was  a really nice fun evening. Glad you coild come down Shea....I expect to see some of these goodies at Christmas!!

Now it was time to get ready for our week of vacation at Disney!!!
