Disney built this island...about 100 people live on it year around...rotating about every 4 mths. They have their own marina and basically everything else. The cast member housing was on the other side of the island and we could not see it or go there. Even the cast that "had the day off" got to go to a private area where we wouldn't bother them....good for them, they need a break.
Sunrise..........
As I leaned around the corner to see the dock, I could see the windows on deck 13 to Remy.
The sun was just coming up on our balcony...
This is the Post Office...one guy was putting up the flags....to the right of the building that is a REALLY tall mailbox....just in case you could lean off your balcony and put something in....cute.
Speaking of flags..the ships flag that was one deck below us was standing straight out because of the wind...wow.
It was a buzz on the dock..and was amazing to watch all the unloading....
This guy was adding "rat stoppers" to our ropes. Rats or other things couldn't get around the big yellow disks to run across the ropes and into the ship...we kinda wondered why they hadn't been put on last nite..hummmmm
After some breakfast was time to venture out...by now, it had warmed up and on the ground the wind was not as bad. We were headed for the all adult beach. I was trying to point to our balcony, I missed it by 3 decks....oh well.
We rode a tram over to our beach and these neat "crashed" plane was there.
The beach was gorgeous...the water is such a pretty color....
Denny and I had rented bikes...so off we went...we did one "us-ey" .....
The bike path had some neat things along the way....
We walked up the tower and could see the ship in the distance...
This outhouse with a pelican in it was kinda funny
No too many were on the beach the adult side was out on a point and still a bit windy....but we enjoyed it for a while.
These little huts could be rented...they had cots, refrigerators and seating in them. I nice front porch with cushioned chairs...we were all fine to just enjoy the loungers and the hammocks.
The bathrooms were very nice....Disney style
After a while we made our way around to the "family" aka kid side of the island and there was no wind. Folks were in the water. I wanted to snorkel really bad, but it was just too chilly for me..but we were told there was a sunken ship and Mickey for you to see....maybe next time. We sat and visited and had a drink and headed back...
We pushed off very quickly....good-bye Castaway Cay....we had a blast.

Last sunset..next stop Port Canaveral....
We headed down to see our last show... Disney's Believe...it was VERY good. As we left our room we stopped to watch this picture hanging on the wall...leave it to Disney to have artwork that is "live"
Then we did a little shopping before dinner. Cheryl and I decided to buy a ship ornament and get the captain to sign it...
We then enjoyed some music in the mid-ship atrium before going to our last dinner at Royal Palace. I loved this bronze Donald Duck...Dinner was very good.
Escargot, fried cheese, rack of lamb and dessert....we were stuffed one more time. Since it was our last night we had to have our bags outside our rooms by 10p if we didn't want to carry them off ourselves...well, we didn't but we had to RUSH to make it happen...but we did, then we spent a bit more time on our wonderful balcony then off to bed.
This was our last bedtime artwork....not too sure...maybe a lobster???
Up and out the next morning....and we met everyone for our last breakfast...you can even see the port outside the window....very sad, it was over. But we had a wonderful trip and look forward to the next one...
Bon Voyage until then......
