A trip to the west coast....Oregon

Time for a little escape....the house was put back together and we'd had our party, so it was time to escape....we went to visit Uncle Al and Aunt Hallie in Portland. It's beautiful there. The flight in was gorgeous...snow and mountains

Another main purpose for going was for them to help us plan a vacation to Africa. They have been many times and it was huge to have them help us. Their home was amazing and had lots of mounts from his hunts...

Have no idea the names of all these animals but I hope we see them all when we go to Africa next year.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and much conversation on our first night....then it was off to bed, we were tired.

The next day was Sunday and Mom and Shea arrived. After getting them, we all went to church then out for  a bite to eat. Then back home to start our Africa planning. We sepent much of the day talking about and planning our trip. It was wonderful....it was almost all planned by the time we left. We again enjoyed a wonderful dinner and then some yummy Apple Cake. Then off to bed, the next day we were heading north to Mt. Hood.
